Commentary
After Jesus speaks to the Samaritan woman, she
returns to town to tell everyone about finding the Messiah.
The people come out to Jesus and urge Him to stay with them and
He does for two days.
Because they people heard and saw Jesus for
themselves, their faith in increased. While before they
believe the woman's testimony, after hearing Jesus, they have a
personal experience with Him and are able to draw their own
conclusions. They place their faith in Jesus just as the
Samaritan woman had.
